No, we do not sell auto parts.
What metals do we accept?
A&A will purchase ferrous metals (mixed clips, autocast, iron, tin, steel, cast iron, as well as alloys (such as with stainless steel) and non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, tin, titanium, zinc, brass, & bronze, compressors, extrusions, insulated wires, batteries, electric motors).
How does the A&A drive-thru weight scale work?
Getting paid for your metal is quick and easy. With no appointment necessary you can drop into our yard any time during working hours. Simply drive onto one of our available weighing ramps (located at the entrance of 440 Tiffin St.) where one of our team members will weigh your vehicle as a whole. Once weighed, you can drive on into the unloading area, unload everything, and drive back onto our scale. You will be paid in cash for the weight of the metal you unloaded.
How much will I be paid for my scrap metals?
We base our pricing off of weight, and current market prices. Market value fluctuates from day to day so be sure to check out the updated units. Paid in cash.
What is scrap metal used for?
Scrap metal is diverse in its recycling ability. It takes significantly less resources, money, and labour to recycle scrap metal compared to producing brand new metal. Recycled metal can produce things such as automobiles, bicycles, computers, electrical wiring, hospital equipment, hardware & industrial tools, just about anything really. Don’t throw it away, recycle!
Do I need to make an appointment?
No, you do not need to make an appointment for selling scrap metal. Simply drop in during yard hours and our team would be happy to assist you. If you are selling a scrap car, our team will have to coordinate a pick up time and location with you unless you are dropping off your vehicle in person.
